Wonder Lake Girls Softball.​

Welcome to Wonder Lake Girls Softball!!  We are a community based, recreational  fast pitch recreational softball league serving the Wonder Lake Community for girls between the ages of 5-12.   Division placement is based on age as of January 1st.

​

Spring registration begins in January and runs through mid march and may close early if  team rosters are full.   Spring teams are then established by Mid -March and the game schedule is announced in early April.   Practices being in April and are typically two days a week, weather permitting.     The spring game schedule runs from April  through the end of June.

Registration for the fall season begins in June and ends the first week of August.  The fall game schedule runs from September through October.  

​

WLGS is part of Northern Illinois Softball Association (NISA).   We play against other local towns such as Woodstock, Johnsburg, Crystal Lake, and Mchenry.   NISA rules can be found on their website (nisoftball.org).

Players must purchase the team jersey.    Players are will need to provide their own softball pants (or black pants), facemask, and softball cleats.    Players are also encouraged to purchase their own bat, helmet however WLGS has available a limited supply if needed.  

 

We are a volunteer community non-profit organization.  Volunteers are needed and required to make this program a success.  This includes coaches, assistants with field prep, etc.  Anyone interested in volunteering or coaching please contact us.  Please support our sponsors whom we rely heavily upon in keeping our costs down.
