Welcome to Wonder Lake Girls Softball!
We are a community-based recreational fast-pitch softball league for girls ages 5-12, serving the Wonder Lake area. Our divisions are organized by age as of January 1st.
Season Information

Spring Season: Registration runs from January through mid-March and may close early if rosters are full. Teams are formed by mid-March, with the game schedule announced in early April. Practices begin in April and are typically held twice a week, weather permitting. The spring season runs from April to the end of June.

Fall Season: Registration opens in June and closes by the first week of August. Fall games run from September through October.
League Overview
WLGS is part of the Northern Illinois Softball Association (NISA), competing with teams from neighboring towns such as Woodstock, Johnsburg, Crystal Lake, and McHenry. You can find NISA rules on their official website:

Required Gear: Players are responsible for their own softball glove, face mask, cleats and black pants.

Optional Gear: While players are encouraged to bring their own bat and helmet with mask, WLGS provides a limited supply for those who need them.
Volunteers Needed
